🧠 How to Stop the Past from Haunting You and Take Back Control of Your Life

Image
How to Stop the Past from Haunting You and Take Back Control of Your Life 🧠 How to Stop the Past from Haunting You and Take Back Control of Your Life We’ve all faced moments that replay in our minds — the words we wish we hadn’t said, the opportunities we missed, the heartbreaks we didn’t see coming. But here’s the truth: the past is a place of reference, not residence. You can’t change what happened, but you can change what happens next. Here’s how to stop your past from haunting you and start designing your future. 1. Acknowledge, Don’t Avoid Running from your past only gives it more power. Be honest with yourself. Accept what happened — without judgment. Healing starts when you stop denying and start dealing. 2. Take the Lesson, Leave the Story Every tough experience is a masterclass in disguise. Ask yourself, What did this teach me? Then, move on. Don’t let yesterday’s story define tomorrow’s strength. 3. Forgive — Especially Yourself Forgivenes...

Mood changes, forgetfulness, and low motivation may also appear before obvious physical symptoms. How Does Thyroid Function Affect Mental Health? Chronic hypothyroidism can mimic depression, anxiety, and cognitive slowing. Why Are Standard Blood Tests Sometimes Misleading? Lab ranges are statistical averages. You can feel unwell even if results fall “normal.” Optimal thyroid function is highly individual, and subtle deficiencies can trigger fatigue, cognitive issues, and mood chang...

Two dead after cargo plane skids off Hong Kong runway into sea (BBC) A cargo plane skidded off a runway at Hong Kong International Airport and landed in the sea early on Monday, killing two ground staff. Emirates flight EK9788 was arriving from Dubai at about 03:50 local time (19:50 GMT) when it veered off the runway and collided with an airport patrol vehicle. The two people inside the vehicle died, while the four crew members onboard the plane survived the crash. It marks one of Hong Kong's deadliest aviation incidents in years - the city's international airport has had a good safety record. Authorities have launched an investigation as questions remain over the path taken by the plane upon landing. Airport officials have said they gave the correct instructions to the plane and that there are signs on the runway to guide aircraft. Airport operations executive director Steven Yiu said the patrol car was, at the time, travelling on a road outside of the runway's fencing ...

See that soft pouch sitting just above your pubic area? The one that shows up in fitted jeans, swimsuits, and workout gear no matter how many crunches you've done? It has a name: FUPA — Fat Upper Pubic Area. And here's what nobody tells you: it's incredibly common, completely normal, and affects millions of people worldwide. But that doesn't mean you have to live with the discomfort or self-consciousness it causes. Let's break down what FUPA actually is, why it happens, and most importantly — what you can do about it. New evidence had exonerated him earlier this month of the murder of his former roommate. But before he could reach his family's arms, Mr Vedam was taken into custody by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who want to deport him to India - a country he has not lived in since he was a baby. Now, Mr Vedam's legal team is fighting a deportation order and his family is determined to get him out of custody, for good. His family are now working to navigate a new and "very different" situation, his sister Saraswathi Vedam told the BBC. Her brother has gone from a facility where he knew inmates and guards alike, where he mentored fellow inmates, and where he had his own cell, t...
